Finally Xiaomi launched its most awaited latest flagship smartphone titled Mi Note 2 today at a press event in Beijing. Note is also considered as the best alternative to Samsung Note 7 as it is one of the first “edge” screen called non-Samsung smartphone.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 specs with a stylish dual-curved design on both side the front and the back. The Mi Note 2 has a 5.7-inch full hd OLED, panel, with 1080×1920 pixels resolution which is curved on both sides. Mi Note 2 is equipped with 2.35 Ghz quadcore Snapdragon 821 SoC which is powered by 4070 mAh powerfull bettery having Quick Charge 3.0 support.
It bears rounded fingerprint sensor on the home button which appears to be embedded beneath the glass, similar to the recently announced Xiaomi Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus smartphones.
The Dual-SIM Mi Note 2 loaded with a 22.56 megapixel rear camera with IMX 318 sensor from Sony, featuring Exmor RS sensor, an f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, and EIS with its own 3-axis gyroscope for 4K video, autofocus, while the selfie camera is a 8 megapixel IMX 268 camera with f/2.0. It comes with a group selfie feature and Auto Beautify 3.0.
Xiaomi is famous for its affordable price tags even on flagship gadgets. Likewise this time again Mi Note 2 launched at a decent price tag. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is coming in three variants: a 4 GB RAM with 64 GB inbuilt storage model which is priced at CNY 2,799 (approximately INR. 27,600), a 6 GB RAM with 128 GB internal storage model coming with a price tag of CNY 3,299 (approximately Rs. 32,600), and the Global version 6 GB RAM with 128 GB storage priced at CNY 3,499 (approximately Rs. 34,500) which has support for up to 37 LTE bands globally.
This new flagship will be available in Piano Black and Glacial Silver colour choices and an aluminium build case. Xiaomi is also offering a virtual SIM, with MVNO support. The smartphone is now available for pre-orders in China, and will become live for the sale from November 1.
