Xiaomi has finally launched Xiaomi Redmi Note phablet in India after 12 round of RedMi 1S sale. Xiaomi has launched this gadget in the same way as it launched Mi3 and Redmi 1S, through online registration process on Flipkart.
The newly launched Xiaomi phablet is now listed on flipkart website and registration for the first sale is live now. As mentioned over the Flipkart Mi page, to purchase this smartphone user needs to register themselves for the to be held on 2nd Dec at 2 PM. Registration for this sale will be open till 1st Dec midnight.
Today was the day for the sale of Redmi 1s smartphone. Xiaomi disclosed that it has sold more than 5,00,000 Redmi 1S and Mi3 smart phones in India so far.
Coming back to the RedMi Note, the dual-SIM supported phablet is powered by a 1.7 GHz MediaTek MTK6592 octa core processor coupled with a Mali-450MP4 GPU, and packs with 2GB of RAM. It is powered by Android 4.2.2 customized with Xiaomi’s MIUI v5 skin.
While the 4G version of the gadget runs on a Snapdragon 400, quad core 1.6GHz CPU coupled with 2GB RAM, and supports single SIM. It is powered by Android 4.4.2 KitKat with MIUI v5 skin. Xiaomi has pointed that upgrades to Android 5 Lollipop will be in the future.
Apart from that, both the Redmi Note phablet share similar specs. Both, the Redmi Note 4G and Redmi Note have 5.5 inch IPS LCD screens with a resolution of 720×1280-pixels and have 13 MP autofocus primary cameras with LED flashes and a 5 MP front cameras.
On the memory front, both the Redmi Note 4G and Redmi Note come with 8 GB internal memory and microSD card slots support for expansion, though the Redmi Note phablet supports microSD cards up to 32 GB) while the 4G version supports cards up to 64 GB.
